The Fallen - An Exclusive Sneak Peek!
The Fallen will be released in September 2022. It's the third book in this trilogy. Here is an exclusive sneak peek!
The orcs barged into the room. The dragons tried to defend us, attacking the offenders, and shielding us with their bodies. Rocks fell from the ceiling. But I didn’t care. Her skin felt so cold, yet I didn’t want to leave her. Damien got off his dragon and forced me to put down Leila’s body on the floor. He was talking to me, screaming over the sound of the orcs. I didn’t hear anything. I stared at her lifeless body. How I yearned to kiss those delicate lips. I couldn’t live without her. My wolf was howling in pain. The mate bond was broken. It was torturing me. My heart was shattered. I felt sick to my stomach.
An axe swung right past my face. I turned around just in time to see Damien fight back an orc warrior.
“Come on, Will! We need to go!” screamed Damien after killing the orc. He climbed back on his white dragon and motioned for me to do the same.
He flew away through the hole in the ceiling, along with the others. I was now alone with Ladon, and my beloved Leila: my treasure, my everything. The sacred sword was still lodged in her chest. Blood tainted her clothes, as well as my hands.
The orcs were fiercely attacking now. Ladon was defending me, but he would soon be overrun. Should I let myself be killed? What was the point of living if I couldn’t be with the woman I loved?
My wolf snarled at me. He was right. Leila wouldn’t want us to sacrifice ourselves just like that. She sacrificed herself to help us fight the demon. If I was to die, it would mean her death was for nothing. Anger burst in my chest.

Excerpts from Age-Old Enemies for you
"I heard my wolf call to me. She wanted me to go to him. But I told her to stop, she must be wrong. That man kidnapped me. He was the enemy. He was a vampire, for god’s sake! Why was I so attracted to him?"
"I’ve been hit and whipped. I’ve blacked out a few times. My skin hurts. I’m so thirsty I could drink anything. My clothes are torn from the torture. The only thing that keeps me going on is thinking about Kate. I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but I’ll get back to her. Even if it’s the last thing I do, I’ll see her one more time. Wait for me, my little wolf. I’ll be there, I promise."
"One day, we were seen together by someone, and father found out about us. That day, he brought us to a dark room. He chained me and forced me to watch as he tortured her slowly. I couldn’t move, all I could do was watch, and even if I closed my eyes, I still heard her cries. And through our mate bond, I could feel her suffering. As if it wasn’t enough, he forced me to watch as he finally killed her. Then, as I was suffering from the severing of the mate bond, he had me imprisoned in the dungeon for a week, whipped every day and barely fed.”
